It's that time of year again...
Kevin and Dusty gathering the troops. We've got 5 turkeys to slaughter this year.
Dusty cuttin' the head off...
Lots of spectators gather around.
The blood and head catcher. AKA wheelbarrow with hay.
Defeathering Station
Dusty, Ruth, Saige and Tara & Austin
My sister in law and I. She was visiting with my nieces and nephew from California.
My nephew Jaden worked the defeathering station.
Noah's got some extra feet to keep himself entertained for a while.
Oh wait, bring those back, we want to make a Nourishing Traditions broth with those!!
Kaianah had a front row seat.
This is how you KNOW the turkeys were grass fed!
Yep, grass is coming out. (Gross!)
Lots of feathers, lots.

That is awesome! Good job guys!
I love the picture with the grass falling out of the turkey's neck.
Yum...
All that grass was crazy, and you look so comfortable working with that turkey.
