~~MOTIVATION 101~~

I found this on our kitchen chalkboard this morning.
I look around and see kids with bibles in hand.
Some of the things I've heard today:
"Dad won't be able to work on this while he's at work, that means I'm going to win!"
"Mom, can you listen to what I have memorized so far??"
It's not clear to me if they are more motivated by the candy bar, or by beating Dusty or both. Time will tell.

this is why dusty is awesome. I hope you don't mind that i check your blog from time to time. My husband and I are ravencrest buddies of his. Dennis and Melisa. Please tell him we said hi. I love watching your family live off the land. We want to get there someday, and will be able to delve more into it when we move into the house we are building. I can tell that we are like minded in many ways...though I am homeschooling for the first time this fall! yikes! anyway, thanks for what you share. and do please tell your main man hi and that i love to see that's he's still a little crazy and still a lot in love with the Lord.

Dusty was so excited to hear from you, he said you guys "are an awesome couple". :)Feel free to check out our blog anytime! We've been a little absent on here but we do post from time to time. Exciting news about homeschooling, I cried most of my first year homeschooling but now it's much, much easier. We are 7 years into homeschooling now. My point: Don't give up when it gets hard, the Lord will sustain you.
