Today Dusty finally finished the new cow corral. yippy! We shopped for all the supplies second hand, mostly on Craigslist and a few from garage sales. I would say 90% of the project was bought second hand, we bought a couple things at Home Depot that we couldn't find with recycled products. We saved a ton of money plus felt very "green" about it.
Noah and I went to Eagle today and sold our raspberries and some eggs to a friend and then did some errands together. It was nice one-on-one time. We had some great conversations, we laughed and we turned up the radio in the car and sang loud together. :~) We hadn't been out of the house all week because Kaianah wasn't feeling well and we think Noah got the chicken pox! (a very mild case if it was really the Chicken Pox)
I'm really hoping it was the chicken pox and that the rest of the kids get it. We actually had a small "Chicken Pox Party". A friend came over and swapped spit with my kids so her kids might get it...we have two other families that really want the chicken pox too, so my friend took spit samples with her to give to our other friends! funny huh? Now that I've totally grossed you out!
