4 Davis' with Chicken Pox

The chicken pox party we attended was a success! Four out of the five kids came down chicken pox. We still have little Noah holding out on getting them but we are hopeful he'll come down with them soon.
Here's a picture of what my entire week has revolved around. OATMEAL!

Austin got the mildest case since he had the vaccine 10 years ago. He got about 20-25 pox. He is now completely healed.

Kaianah got it the worst, with spiking fevers at 104.3 and that temp held steady for a full 24 hrs.

We passed the time with a puzzle a friend brought over for us. The kids did the difficult puzzle 3 times.

She was better at spreading the pieces around the table more than she was helping put it together.

Noah was really into the puzzle! It was right up his alley.

TA-DA, It's finished!

Kaianah's hair was pretty curly because I couldn't brush her hair after the bath, she had chicken pox on her head. Would have been to painful to brush it...
We had 7 different families that were very interested in getting their kids exposed to chicken pox, so during all this we held TWO chicken pox parties at our house. We were glad we could help some of these like minded families. :)
As you can imagine all these chicken pox kids have put a little damper on our social calendar, we can't wait to visit with friends again, attend church & get out of the house!

Congratulations on getting the Chiken Pox! We would love to catch them too! Would you be willing to send some infected Q-tips to GA? We will gladly pay the shipping. Thanks and I hope you all get well soon.

How long did it take for the pox to fully develop in your kids? Have they fully recover now?

I have never heard of chicken pox parties till recently.

Did any of the kids that attended your chicken pox party actually come down with chicken pox?

I just exposed my kiddos to the pox, but the mom of the girl who had them didn't have time for a playdate, so I had to settle for her giving her daughter suckers and then I picked them up and gave them to my boys. They thought it was such a treat to have THREE whole suckers! We still have a while to wait and are about to enter our quarantine, but I'm really hoping that we don't stay home for 3 weeks for nothing! Come on POX!
